Dillingham is the hub of the Commercial fisherman in what is known as the best commercial salmon fishing in the state of Alaska, although rough climates brought in from the Gulf of Alaska have not changed the minds of the residents of the area to call this place home. More than just commercial fishing this town is full of outdoor activities that beckon the hunter or the avid hiker, Dillingham is painters’ dream come true during all seasons.
