Build a road and they will come, build a Trans-Alaskan pipeline and the town will flourish as the story of many towns that are along the Glenn Highway and so hold true for the town of Glennallen. Its history is colorful with stories of World War 2 and the downfall of the town with the building of the George Parks highway that bypassed the now tiny town of Glennallen yet it still holds on to its Alaskan charm.
