The settlers of Homer thought to have made a gold strike town it later became known better for it bountiful fishing harvest from the sheltered Kachemak Bay of the Cook Inlet. Art festivals, sport fishing, hiking and sightseeing are just a few of the exciting things to do while visiting so don’t be surprised if you too would want to call this place home.
