Traveling out of Anchorage, pass through the 
Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge and be prepared spot migratory birds, water fowl and moose. Continue along Turnagain Arm where Beluga whales and Dall sheep can often be seen. After passing Girdwood and Portage Glacier, travel through a two mile tunnel before reaching Whittier.
The Glacier Discovery features comfortable forward-facing seats, classic recliners, and outdoor viewing areas. Experience the Alaska wilderness while enjoying the luxury of circa-50s style coaches, upper viewing dome, and a dining car complete with polished silver and sparkling crystal.
