After leaving Fairbanks, the train crosses the Tanana
River via one of the world's longest single-span bridges. Pass through the scenic Nenana River Canyon, a popular spot for whitewater rafting immediately before arriving at Denali. After departing Denali, ross the 918-foot Hurricane Gulch trestle, 296 feet above the creek below. South of Talkeetna, keep an eye out for wildlife and magnificent views of Mt. McKinley. Weather permitting, the train will slow to allow passengers to take photos.
All Denali Star coaches feature comfortable forward-facing seats, classic recliners, and outdoor viewing areas. Experience the Alaska wilderness while enjoying the luxury of circa-50s style coaches, upper viewing dome, and a dining car complete with polished silver and sparkling crystal.
GoldStar guests bask in the luxury of a first-class multi-level luxury coach, replete with exquisite decor and a private open air viewing deck. Dine in comfort in 36 dining room seats with views through picture windows. Your dome-level reclining seats can rotate to accommodate groups of four and let you share the experience with friends. A full-time bar attendant is available to those looking for libations.
Alaska Travel Tip: If traveling round trip to and from Denali National Park, consider dividing your round trip transportation to and from Denali National Park between the Alaska Railroad and the Denali Motorcoach Service in order to better experience the full range of Alaska scenery and viewing experiences.

Very quaint and comfy. And, the curtains did a great job darkening the room. Thank you, we slept great!

My handicapped child wanted to go to visit the Alaska wilderness, and they had everything in place to make the lodging and tours accessible for us... They even picked us up from the airport. I can't wait to do all of the tours! Thank you so much for the beautiful memories.
