Board the morning train to Denali National Park, and upon arrival take a convenient shuttle to check in at Denali Cabins. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic rafting excursion skirting the boundaries of Denali National Park down the glacier-fed Nenana River. Later in the evening, join an intimate group for a personal tour of the homestead and Iditarod race kennel of three-time Iditarod champion Jeff King and his wife, well known wildlife artist Donna Gates King. After the Deluxe Continental Breakfast join one of the optional activities before boarding our afternoon bus to the Denali Backcountry Lodge. After the early morning breakfast buffet, board the bus for another great opportunity to enjoy the vista's and wonders of Denali, searching for famous Denali wildlife. Today, enjoy the Grand Highlights and Cruise Tour. Start with a scenic drive along Turnagain Arm, ending at Portage Lake, with an amazing glacier cruise. Then, on your way back to Anchorage, stop at the Alyeska resort for lunch and an optional tram ride up the mountain.
