Board the morning train to Denali National Park, winding through the scenic Matanuska-Susitna Valley. Upon arrival take a convenient shuttle to check in at Denali Cabins. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic rafting excursion skirting the boundaries of Denali National Park down the glacier-fed Nenana River. Later in the evening, join an intimate group for a personal tour of the homestead and Iditarod race kennel of three-time Iditarod champion Jeff King and his wife, well known wildlife artist Donna Gates King. Make sure to cuddle the husky puppies before heading back to your private cedar cabin. Overnight at Denali Cabins.

Take the Alaska Railroad's Coastal Classic train to Whittier tracing the scenic Turnagain Arm, where you'll have an great chance of seeing Beluga Whales, moose, and Dall sheep. Connect with your cruise in Whittier.
