Begin your Prince William Sound Adventure in Anchorage; pick up your rental car, check into your hotel then make the drive to the Alaska Native Heritage Center to experience indigenous Alaska. The center provides programs in both academic and informal settings, including workshops, demonstrations, and guided tours of indoor exhibits and outdoor village sites. Overnight in Anchorage.
This morning take the drive down to Whittier and enjoy the vistas at Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet. The drive to Whittier truly is a beautiful one; look for Beluga Whales out in Turnagain Arm, and Dall sheep on the steep mountainsides above. Arriving in Whittier, proceed to the Major Marine's Prince William Sound Blackstone Glacier Cruise. In addition to witnessing glacial events like calving and ice falls, you'll also see breathtaking scenery, towering waterfalls and wildlife such as: eagles, Harbor Seals, otters and bird rookeries. Enjoy a Salmon and Prime Rib buffet for lunch, served on board(Included). After your cruise, return to Anchorage at your leisure. Overnight in Anchorage.
Day 3 - Anchorage(B):Check out of your hotel, return your rental car and feel free to take a self guided tour of downtown Anchorage. Downtown Anchorage has lots of unique little shops and excellent restaurants. The city also has a very extensive trail system and lots of parks to enjoy and relax in. Visit the Museum of History and Art or enjoy some shopping at the 5th Avenue Mall.
