Day 1 - Fairbanks to Kantishna (D):

In Fairbanks, board Alaska Railroad's train to Denali National Park. From the Denali Park Entrance, board the bus traveling deep inside the park to the Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna. The trip to the lodge is an adventure in and of itself; it is an amazingly beautiful ride and offers great opportunities for wildlife viewing. Our drivers/guides provide a natural history interpretation along the way, and help you spot wildlife. Arrive to the Lodge in the evening, welcomed by a hearty dinner(Included); and check in to your cozy cedar cabin. You will spend the next two nights at Denali Backcountry Lodge soaking in the deep experience of Denali. All activities, programs, meals and snacks are included while at the Lodge. Overnight at Denali Backcountry Lodge.

Day 2 - Kantishna (B|L|D):

Enjoy your day at the Lodge, and get acquainted with the area and activities! Choose from the numerous activities or simply relax and enjoy the majestic beauty of Denali National Park. There are many activities at the Lodge from hiking, mountain biking, gold panning, Natural History programs, Wonder Lake shuttles to simply relaxing in the Natural History Lounge or gazebos. You can even take an optional flightseeing tour of Denali. Overnight at Denali Backcountry Lodge.

Day 3 - Kantishna to Fairbanks (B):

After an early morning breakfast buffet board the afternoon bus back to the Park Entrance for another opportunity to enjoy the wonders of Denali searching for moose, caribou, sheep and grizzlies. Arrive Denali's Rail Depot about noon with time to spare for lunch and optionally a quick trip to the Denali Park Visitor's Center. Then board Alaska Railroad's train north to Fairbanks. This tour ends with train arrival in Fairbanks in the late evening.
