Your arrival day is free to explore Anchorage. Check in to your hotel and then feel free to take a self guided tour of Anchorage. Downtown has lots of unique little shops and excellent restaurants, on the weekends, the Anchorage Saturday Market is a great place to walk for shopping, entertainment and food. The city also has a very extensive trail system and lots of parks to enjoy and relax in. You could also visit the Museum of History and Art, or enjoy some shopping at the 5th Avenue Mall. Take the morning Motorcoach from Anchorage to Denali Cabins, a unique property south of the park entrance. Denali Cabins' collection of 46 cozy Cedar Cabins are spacious enough to have modern conveniences such as private baths, televisions, telephones, and contemporary furnishings, yet still have the charm of an authentic Alaskan cabin. Later in the afternoon embark on a scenic rafting excursion. With two hours of scenic and mild water rafting on the Nenana River, this trip is perfect for families. After enjoying Denali Cabins Deluxe Continental Breakfast(Included), you will have some free time before boarding our afternoon bus to the Denali Backcountry Lodge. The trip to the Lodge is an adventure in and of itself; it is an amazingly beautiful ride, and offers great opportunities for wildlife viewing. Our drivers/guides provide a natural history interpretation along the way, and help you spot wildlife. Arrive to the lodge in the evening, welcomed by a hearty dinner(Included); and check in to your cozy Cedar Cabin. You will spend the next three nights at Denali Backcountry Lodge soaking in the deep experience of Denali. All activities, programs, meals and snacks are included while at the Lodge. Enjoy your first day at the Lodge and get acquainted with the area and activities! Choose from the many activities at the Lodge from hiking, biking, gold panning, Natural History programs, Wonder Lake shuttles to simply relaxing in the Natural History Lounge or gazebos. Relax and enjoy your last day at Denali Backcountry Lodge. Join a guided hike, go mountain biking, or simply enjoy the majestic beauty of Denali National Park. You can even take an optional flightseeing tour of Denali. Overnight at Denali Backcountry Lodge.
After the early morning breakfast buffet(Included), board the bus back to the Park Entrance for another great opportunity to enjoy the vistas and wonders of Denali, searching for famous Denali wildlife. You will then connect to the Anchorage bound train arriving to Anchorage in the late evening. Overnight in Anchorage.
This morning ride Alaska Railroad's Coastal Classic train through some of Alaska's most spectacular scenery to Seward. After arriving in Seward, immerse yourself in the Real Alaska Tour with Iditarod winner Mitch Seavey's IdidaRide Sled Dog Tours. Tour the City of Seward, hear about 1964 Tsunami, visit Exit Glacier, and get to experience IdidaRide's Wilderness Dog Sled Ride and Tour. Before your departure, take a self guided tour of the Alaska SeaLife Center. The Alaska SeaLife Center offers an unrivaled, up-close and personal experience with Gulf of Alaska marine wildlife. Witness a 2000+ pound Stellar Sea Lion gliding past underwater viewing windows, Puffins diving in a carefully crafted naturalistic habitat, and Harbor Seals resting on rocky beaches. Optional behind the scenes tours of the center are also available. This vacation ends with the boarding of your cruise ship.
