Depart the city of Anchorage in the afternoon between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. for a scenic two-hour drive to Cooper Landing, home of Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted for an orientation and tour of our property with time to settle into your cabin before dinner. After being briefed by our seasoned fishing staff on what to expect the next day, enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare for tomorrow's fishing adventure!
Wake up to a hearty, home-cooked breakfast, and gear up for an exciting day of fishing! Fish up to eight hours today with other anglers (novice to accomplished) and our experienced and friendly guides on the Upper and Lower Kenai River. There are a wide variety of fishing options depending on your departure date: king salmon on the Lower Kenai; sockeye, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden on the Upper Kenai. Your fishing options and destinations will be scheduled in advance of your visit. After another great dinner, feel free to steam the day away in the wood-fired sauna, and enjoy a peaceful sleep in your cozy cabin.
After breakfast, bid farewell to Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge and return to Anchorage via shuttle arriving by noon.
