Every Alaska vacation should include a trip into Denali National Park; however, finding the right place to stay can be a challenge. For a park more than six million acres in size, there is only one road; the Park Road, with limited access. Private vehicles can drive on the road up to mile 15, and the rest of the road is accessible only by park-sanctioned bus trips.
Denali National Park lodging can be categorized into lodging inside the park and lodging outside the park. We own and operate Denali Backcountry Lodge deep inside Denali National Park in the Kantishna region, and we also own and operate Denali Cabins at the park entrance. Always make sure to check our Hotels and Lodging web specials before making your reservations.
Lodging outside the park is a great way to experience Denali by indulging in various day activities. For a more immersive experience, one far away from public access, in the heart of millions of acres of wilderness, there is no other place than the Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna. Incredible views, an abundance of wildlife, peace and quiet, and a chance to live off the grid draw these adventurous souls.

Many guests coming to Denali stay near the park entrance along a ten-mile stretch of the Parks Highway known as the Denali Town Site. While not technically inside the park, the area still offers beautiful views, vibrant forests, and chances to see wildlife. There are various tour activities that one can experience at the park entrance such as rafting, ATV Tours, or flightseeing. Denali Cabins, our property outside the park, offers all the advantages of lodging near the entrance. While it's not quite the same as lodging inside the park, guests can still see all of Denali's road-accessible areas by joining the Denali Backcountry Adventure. The Adventure is a 13-hour, full-day tour of the park that travels the entire length of the park road.

My handicapped child wanted to go to visit the Alaska wilderness, and they had everything in place to make the lodging and tours accessible for us... They even picked us up from the airport. I can't wait to do all of the tours! Thank you so much for the beautiful memories.
