Begin this
four day Alaska travel adventure by flying from Fairbanks to the Inupiat Eskimo village of Barrow. Get a firsthand glimpse of the lifestyle of Alaska's Arctic Coastal people with a tour of the village. Meet the Inupiat Eskimo people while enjoying a cultural program featuring ceremonial song and dance, traditional games, and demonstration of local native crafts. Walk the shores of the Arctic Ocean near the northernmost point in North America. Overnight in Barrow and enjoy the Midnight Sun.
Fly to Prudhoe Bay and visit the Prudhoe Bay oil
fields before continuing south in comfortable tour vans along the famed Dalton Highway. Continue across the Arctic Coastal Plain before climbing through the majestic Brooks Mountain Range and over the Continental Divide at Atigun Pass. Overnight at rustic Coldfoot.
Visit the historic gold mining community of Wiseman. Cross the Arctic Circle and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate. Cross the mighty Yukon River and learn of the
river's storied past. Visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post situated in the rural community of Joy, Alaska. Complete your adventure with a southbound ground tour back to Fairbanks.
