You will be talking about this tour for years after you fly it. On this flight you are able to go completely around Denali! You start off taking the south side of the mountain then continuing to see Kahiltna Glacier, the West Buttress, Sheldon Amphitheater, Ruth Glacier and the Great Gorge. You will fly across the gorge and see the Wickersham Wall, a 14,000 continuous rise of rock and ice. This can be the highlight of your Alaska tour, truly a once in a lifetime experience.
This tour takes around 1.5 hours, and with a glacier landing at the Sheldon Amphitheater, it lasts 2 hours. This flight is narrated by the pilot who is happy to answer any questions. Be sure to pack extra film and batteries for this trip!
