The card did not seem appropriate for the kinds of comments we wanted to make about the treatment and interaction we encountered with Denali Lodges and Alaska Denali Tours. Therefore, we'll attempt to pass along our responses.

First from the initial contact with Kelly Pulver and the treatment and service were outstanding. She was always willing to address any of our questions, needs and communications. We should have known she would be there in "our time of need".

On the morning of August 19th, when we learned the trains were not running and the highway was closed, we began to worry. But after the great personal service by Alaskan Railway and a flight to Fairbanks, when I called Kelly and told her our status and our preference for continuation and return to Anchorage, we didn't worry about or situation.

Secondly, the people at Denali Cabins and the Backcountry Adventure were wonderful, from service, knowledge of the Park, wildlife and history, to being willing and available to meeting our needs. They did all of this with smiles and pleasant attitudes. The weather even accommodated our trip to Kantishna: seeing "the" Mountain, lots of wildlife and bountiful vistas.

The accommodations and service were excellent. We were delighted to have a gourmet dinner at Denali Cabins and then enjoy the spectacular surroundings from the hot tub outside our cabin.

Finally, our return plans and voucher were faxed and we rode the train back to Anchorage, with the Gold Leaf Service we'd hoped for. Because of Kelly's diligence and attention we had a wonderful experience!

Thank your for your emphasis on service and caring - it made for memories. Because we don't remember days, we remember moments in time - and we'll fondly remember our experience with Denali Lodges and Alaska Denali Tours.

Your efforts in putting together our transportation, lodging and tours made things so easy and hassle free. The Alaska Railroad really lived up to its reputation. Our stay at the Denali Backcountry Lodge and our Kenai Fjords National Park tour will remain in our memories forever.

Sorry it's taken so long to write and thank you for all you did to make our stay with you at the Denali Backcountry Lodge. We really appreciate your making all the travel arrangements upon our arrival in Anchorage. All we had to do was collect our bags at the airport, you did all the rest!

We have just returned from our fabulous vacation in Alaska.

I want you to know that our stay at the Denali Backcountry Lodge was one of the highlights in a trip filled with highlights. We felt completely relaxed and were very impressed with the way in which the staff made our time there so enjoyable. They were helpful and knowledgeable, patient and frankly, Amazing. So we wanted through you to send them a big thank you.

Tell them, if they have forgotten us, that we are the couple from London who kept asking questions of the rangers! Went on a wet walk with Mark and a tundra walk with Noah. Also went to Wonder Lake where Fiona found a bull moose.

The breakfast at Denali Cabins was very good. The staff did a great job of keeping everything filled and ready. The lunch of soup, salads and sandwich bar was wonderful at Kantishna; delicious soup! We took a botany walk with a very knowledgeable and nice young man that was very informative. My bus driver/guide, Mike, was just wonderful. He also was very knowledgeable and a good, careful, safe driver as well. This was one of the highlights of my Alaska vacation. Thank you.
